Between 1885 and 1910 Frank Alexander was a Methodist minister in the Holston Conference, covering parts of Virginia and Tennessee.1,8 He was resided1 between 17 March 1885 and 19 November 1885 at Union, Floyd County, Virginia.8 He officiated at the marriage of Robert Moore Baldwin and Lula Elizabeth Alexander on 22 July 1885 at Union, Smyth County, Virginia.8 Frank Alexander was resided1 between 19 November 1885 and 27 October 1887 at Lebanon, Russell County, Virginia.8 After 1885, Frank Alexander was known as "Rev. After 1907 Rev. Frank Alexander lived with his daughter, Annie (Alexander) Fugate, at Indian Springs, Tennessee.8 A letter to his children from Indian Springs, dated 8 December 1915, describes events connected with the death of his wife.12 He died on 13 November 1925 at Rose Lawn, Mt. Jackson, Shenandoah County, Virginia, at age 87, while visiting at the home of his daughter, Carrie (Alexander) Barns.2,13 He was buried at Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Smyth County, Virginia; Rev. F. Alexander born Oct. 6, 1838 died Nov. 13, 1925.14
